ARES! Wegovy Goes Digital... but Why?

Greetings mortals! Your friendly neighborhood Amazonian Princess Diana here reporting on a development that has me both intrigued and slightly suspicious. Novo Nordisk the purveyors of the weight loss drug Wegovy have decided to partner with telehealth companies like Hims & Hers and Ro. Apparently this is to make the drug more accessible now that those pesky 'compounded' versions are facing legal scrutiny. Remember sometimes good intentions pave the road to…well you know. It's like when Ares tried to bring 'peace' through war. Didn’t quite work out did it?

Themyscira's Take on Telehealth and Tablets

Now I'm all for technological advancements – I’ve seen my share of invisible jets and truth telling lassos. But something smells fishier than a Gorgon's lair. Are these telehealth companies truly interested in the well being of humanity or are they just chasing after the almighty drachma? And will they be able to provide proper monitoring for people on this medication? I’d hate for anyone to end up needing a Lasso of Truth just to figure out what they signed up for!

Cash Rules Everything Around Me?

Speaking of drachmas let's talk price. Wegovy will be available through NovoCare their new online pharmacy for a mere $499 a month for the uninsured – half the usual price! But of course each telehealth company might tack on additional fees for their 'services.' It's a business model and like Etta Candy says: "Ain't nothing get done without a little elbow grease!"

Hims & Hers Enter the Weight Loss Ring

Hims & Hers never ones to miss a profit opportunity are offering Wegovy starting at $599 a month along with 24/7 care and nutritional guidance. Sounds like a sweet deal right? But remember even Aphrodite's beauty can be deceiving. Always read the fine print before you commit to any 'magical' solution. I heard a rumor that Hims & Hers have also started prescribing compounded semaglutide. Proceed with caution my friends.

Ro's Lower Road and Lilly's Dissociation

Ro in a bid for the moral high ground (or maybe just more customers) is offering Wegovy at the lower price of $499 a month while still providing access to 24/7 support. But then there's Eli Lilly distancing themselves from Hims & Hers like Cheetah from a bath. Lilly made a statement clarifying that it has "no affiliation" with Hims & Hers. Ouch. Apparently not all partnerships are forged in the fires of Hephaestus's forge.

A Hero's Final Thought Know Your Truth

So what's the moral of this Amazonian adventure? Be vigilant! Question everything! And remember the true path to well being isn't found in a pill or a potion but in self love discipline and a good dose of truth. Now if you’ll excuse me I have a Cheetah to catch. And possibly an FDA regulation meeting to attend. Farewell and may your scales always be balanced!
