Now hold yer horses! Xiaomi in their haste to deliver a record number of electric vehicles unfortunately hit a snag worse than a kraken's grip. More than 29,000 units they delivered they say! But their flagship the SU7 suffered a mishap sending three souls to Davy Jones' locker. The company claims 'twas autopilot at fault. A tragic tale indeed. Makes you wonder if we should stick to rum powered galleons. At least with a drunken crew you know who to blame!
Charting the Course: Xpeng and Leapmotor Show Their Mettle
But fear not me hearties for Xpeng and Leapmotor are charting a steady course! Xpeng delivered over 33,000 vehicles a 268% surge from last year! Leapmotor not to be outdone delivered over 37,000 vehicles a 154% year over year growth. 'Tis a performance worthy of a toast! To rum to fortune and to electric vehicles that *hopefully* don't steer ye wrong!
BYD's Kingdom: A Fleet Beyond Compare!
BYD bless their mechanical hearts sold a staggering 371,419 passenger vehicles in March! Aye even their overseas sales are hitting record highs. They even unveiled their "Super e Platform" technology! Five minutes of charging for 249 miles of range? Now that's what I call speed! They're even usin' artificial intelligence! Seems they're not just buildin' cars; they're buildin' an empire. It would seem you can always trust the untrustworthy because they will always betray you.
Tesla's Troubles: A Storm on the Horizon?
Now where's Tesla in all this? Ah seems they're facing a bit of a storm mateys. Their sales in China dropped by 11.5%. Other carmakers are growin' while Tesla be flounderin'. Perhaps they need to find a compass that points to more than just profit. Maybe a bottle of rum to clear their heads savvy?
