SIIIUUUU! A Little Less Than Expected?

Hello it's me Cristiano Ronaldo! You know the guy who always exceeds expectations. Apparently Japan's exports in March rose by 3.9%. Not bad but not CR7 level eh? The experts those Reuters guys thought it would be 4.5%. Missed it by that much! Maybe they need some of my training secrets. More sprints fewer sushi breaks!

America America! God Bless Trade...

The U.S. my friends is a big deal for Japan. Their second biggest trading partner. Exports went up by 3.1%. Not bad but could be better like my abs. But wait there's Trump! My man! He's talking tariffs which is like a free kick to the face of trade. But he’s suspended those ‘reciprocal’ tariffs for now… smart move Donny! He knows you don't mess with a nation that makes cars as good as my bicycle kicks are beautiful.

Fake News or Real Trade?

Trump says there's 'big progress' in trade talks. I hope so! Nobody wants a trade war except maybe people who like watching things burn. He mentions tariffs military support costs and 'TRADE FAIRNESS.' Sounds like a lot of yelling. I'm used to it. On the pitch I'm always yelling at my teammates. They need the motivation! Just like Japan needs a good deal.

Cars Cars Glorious Cars!

Japan number six steel exporter to the U.S. and their cars... *chef's kiss*. Toyota is number one! Like me always on top! Automobiles are their biggest export to the U.S. Almost a third of everything they ship. That's a lot of metal and rubber. They need to keep making these beauties. I might just buy a fleet of them myself. For my kids of course. And maybe myself.

Imports: The Other Side of the Coin (or Yen)

Imports to Japan? Up 2%. Again not CR7 numbers but not a disaster. Experts thought 3.1%. These experts I swear they should stick to predicting the weather not the economy! They are only good for that. They should be looking up to me. I am the definition of economy! All these brands paying me tons of money to endorse them! SIIIUUUU!

Deficit? More Like a Slight Inconvenience!

Okay okay the trade deficit widened a bit. 544.1 billion yen! Sounds scary but don't panic! It was expected to be smaller but these things happen. Like when I miss a penalty. Rare but it happens. The important thing is to learn from it adjust your strategy and come back stronger. Just like I always do. And maybe just maybe they should consult me on their trade strategy. I'm a winner after all! And winners know other winners. SIIIUUUUUUU!
