Okay people gather 'round! So apparently the Trump Musk bromance is officially ON THE ROCKS! Forget Baywatch; this is real life drama and I'm here for it… from a safe distance of course. Word on the street – or rather from NBC News – is that the Big Man himself is "not interested" in a peacemaking call with the Tesla tycoon. I'm thinking maybe they just need a Bollywood dance off to settle their differences? Imagine Trump doing 'Desi Girl'… I'd pay to see that! But seriously this could get messy.

The Twitterverse Explodes (Again!)

Their feud started over Trump's tax bill which let's be honest is a conversation starter about as welcome as finding out your Louboutins are fake. Musk bless his innovative heart has been critical and Trump well he’s being Trump. Accusations are flying faster than Nick Jonas when he sees me after a long shoot. Remember when Trump supposedly said Musk had gone "crazy"? Cue dramatic music and a slow motion head turn. This is better than any episode of 'Quantico'!

From BFFs to Frenemies: A Cautionary Tale

Once upon a time these two were thick as thieves. Musk was even advising the administration! But then things went south faster than a Mumbai monsoon. Trump claims Musk went "crazy" and threatened to pull government contracts from SpaceX. Talk about a plot twist! I mean I’ve had better breakups than this one and trust me those were worthy of their own musical numbers.

Musk not one to back down from a challenge (or a Twitter fight) retorted that Trump wouldn't have even sniffed the presidency without his financial backing. Ouch! And then the ultimate threat: decommissioning the Dragon spacecraft. Luckily he walked that one back because honestly who wants to be stranded in space over a political spat? Although… the peace and quiet does sound tempting some days! "I’m not even thinking about Elon. He’s got a problem. The poor guy's got a problem," Trump said. He's got a problem? Tell me about it!

White House Whispers: Damage Control in Progress?

Now the White House is doing some serious tap dancing. Susie Wiles says there are “no plans” for a peacemaking call but other officials are whispering about de escalation. It's like trying to explain the plot of 'Inception' to my grandma – complicated and likely to end with someone throwing a remote. Meanwhile I'm just sitting here sipping my chai and wondering if I should offer to mediate. After all I’m practically international relations personified at this point!
