He's out there saying if they had a Fed chair who knew what they were doing interest rates would be lower. Someone needs a chill pill! It's giving me serious 'Quantico' drama vibes you know the kind where everyone's a suspect. Only this time it's the economy on the line! As I always say 'You can't calm the storm so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.' Maybe someone should tell that to Trump and Powell?

Is Someone Getting Fired?!

Things are heating up faster than a Bollywood dance number! There's talk about whether Trump *can* even fire Powell. Apparently Powell thinks he's safe until 2026. But honey in the world of politics anything can happen. Remember when I thought I'd *never* leave India? Never say never! Kevin Hassett a White House economic advisor says they're 'studying the matter.' Sounds serious doesn't it? Like they're deciding whether to renew 'Baywatch' or something.

Social media am I right? Trump's even taken to Truth Social calling Powell 'Too Late' and using the word 'termination'! Talk about dramatic flair! Reminds me of my character Alex Parrish when she’s saving the world one crisis at a time. Everyone is making a big deal of what Trump said but he always makes a big deal of what he says and the drama continues. Why say it with flowers when you can say it with a vaguely threatening social media post? It's all very… *American Assassin*.

So why is Trump so ticked off? Apparently Powell suggested that Trump's tariff plans could cause inflation. And nobody wants inflation darling! It's like showing up to a red carpet event in last year's dress. A total faux pas! Powell even said the tariffs might make it harder for the Fed to balance employment and price stability. Sounds like a recipe for a financial disaster movie and I want a cameo!

Enter Senator Elizabeth Warren stage left! She's warning that firing Powell would crash the markets. Talk about a power move! Sounds like something straight out of 'Citadel'. The thought of this whole thing is making me sweat and you know what I do when I sweat I drink a lot of water and remind myself 'I can and I will'. And I think Powell needs to do the same. The thing is not to panic.

Basically we've got a showdown at the financial corral. Trump wants lower interest rates Powell is playing it cool and the markets are holding their breath. It's all very suspenseful isn't it?
