A Kingly Sum Indeed

Excellent. Another year another mountain of money for those Norwegians. As if they needed it. Still it's a pittance compared to my own Springfield fortune but I suppose even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. This so called 'oil fund' of theirs has apparently raked in $248 billion. Pathetic. Smithers remind me to look into acquiring a Norwegian oil field. Perhaps through... unconventional means. "Are you saying 'boourns' or 'boo urns'?"

The American Dream Pays Dividends

Ah yes the 'strong upturn' in global equities. Particularly those delectable U.S. technology stocks. Serves them right for all those tariffs I supported. Profit is profit even if it means lining the pockets of those irritating Silicon Valley types. And look at this the fund had to navigate U.S. tariff increases. Well the fact is it did better than expected. A lot of this success could be attributed to smart moves on the markets and you too could emulate those moves by taking time to explore After Hours Trading Winners and Losers A Real Look at the Markets.

Renewable Energy: A Pleasant Surprise

Renewable energy investments you say? Hmm. Not my first choice of course. A man needs coal to stoke the fires of industry! But I suppose even I can't deny the… 'positive developments' these things have seen. Especially if it makes the Greenpeace crowd happy. Less protesting means more time for me to count my money. As I always say "Excellent."

Navigating the Turmoil

Ah 'constant turmoil and surprises'. Just another Tuesday for Montgomery Burns. Though these Norwegians seem quite pleased with themselves. Optimism around AI and central bank interest rate cuts eh? Sounds like the ramblings of a sugar addled child. Still if it makes the numbers go up I suppose I can tolerate it. For now.

AI: The Future is Now… Maybe

AI for ethical screening? A load of poppycock. As if a machine could understand the nuances of… let's call it 'creative accounting'. Still if it keeps the regulators off my back I'm all for it. Smithers see if we can install one of these 'AI ethics' programs at the power plant. Make sure it's set to 'ignore' anything related to safety violations.

Lessons Learned?

Divesting from Caterpillar because of… *checks notes* …ties to the West Bank? Utter nonsense. A firm should be judged on its profits not on its… *shudders* …ethics. Still I suppose even these Norwegians are learning that sometimes you have to play the game. Now if you'll excuse me I have a badger to release into the power plant's reactor core.
