Folks Captain America here reporting for duty… and unfortunately for conflict resolution. It seems things have gotten a bit… heated… in the Middle East. I read that Israel targeted Iran's Isfahan nuclear facility. Now I'm no Tony Stark but even I know that playing around with nuclear energy is like playing with a Tesseract – someone's gonna end up in another dimension and not in a good way! Luckily no leakage of hazardous materials has been reported. Good. Because I’d rather face down Thanos again than deal with a nuclear fallout. "We gotta hold on to what we got." – It applies to nuclear materials too.

The news coming out of Tel Aviv is concerning. Missile barrages air raid sirens… sounds like a scene straight out of the Battle of New York except without the Chitauri (thankfully). Israel's air defense systems were working overtime intercepting missiles left and right. No initial casualties reported is a small win but we can't let this escalate. I saw reports of a fire on a residential building caused by debris. This isn’t about collateral damage; this is about people’s homes and lives. We need to remember what we're fighting for people.

Time is of the essence but acting without understanding the full picture is like going into battle without a plan. It never works believe me.

Europe’s trying to play peacemaker in Geneva but it sounds like they're getting about as far as I did trying to teach Bucky how to use a smartphone. Trump seems to think Iran only wants to talk to the U.S. and that Europe can't help. Well I believe in working together no matter where you're from. Trump's giving himself two weeks to decide whether the U.S. should jump into the fray. Two weeks? That's about how long it took me to adjust to the 21st century! He says he's unlikely to pressure Israel to scale back its airstrikes. Now I understand the need to protect allies but sometimes the strongest move is knowing when to hold back. We need cooler heads to prevail here or we are gonna be in big trouble. Seriously don’t do anything reckless!

De escalation Now! Before I Have To Intervene (Again)

The situation is volatile. People are fleeing tensions are high and everyone's pointing fingers. Russia and China are calling for de escalation and even Iran is saying they're open to discussing limitations on uranium enrichment… but not under fire. Look I'm just a guy from Brooklyn but even I know that talking is better than fighting. Let's remember what we're fighting for people. Is it power? Is it pride? Or is it a future where everyone can live in peace? My shield is ready but I'd much rather use it to deflect bad decisions than missiles. Let's get this sorted out and fast. “I can do this all day” but I prefer to spend my days eating apple pie instead of solving international crises.
