I've been keeping my eye on the electric vehicle space and let me tell you CATL's announcement has me buzzing like a freshly charged Tesla coil. They're claiming their new Shenxing battery can add a whopping 520 km of range in just *five minutes*! Five minutes! Back in my day five minutes was how long it took to boot up Windows 95.
