Knock Knock... Who's There? More Trouble!
Well hello there. Walter White here. You know when I heard about this story out of Minnesota about the late State Representative Melissa Hortman I couldn't help but see a little 'Breaking Bad' in it. A politician and her husband gone? And then *boom* someone breaks into their house? It's like the universe is trying to write its own dark comedy. Brooklyn Park Police were called in when they discovered someone had pried off the plywood covering the rear window of the home and then broken into the home. Amateur hour if you ask me.
Treading Lightly? More Like Treading on Thin Ice!
The cops are saying the house was searched but the family doesn't think anything is missing. Right. Because nobody *ever* covers their tracks. You think a guy who'd break into a home especially one with this much heat on it would leave a calling card? No no no. This stinks of someone looking for something specific. Something more than just loose change if you catch my drift. Maybe they were looking for something left behind by the deceased. Maybe there's something very valuable to be found that the family isn't aware of?
Say My Name... and Tell Me What They Took!
Three days before this break in some nutjob named Vance Luther Boelter allegedly impersonated law enforcement to get into the Hortmans' home and well you know the rest. And this Boelter character also shot another state senator and his wife! What in the blue hell is going on up there? It's like someone ordered a hit on the whole damn legislature. Reminds me of my own shall we say *conflicts* with certain parties. But at least I kept my operations... mostly clean.
A Manhunt Fit for Heisenberg
They caught Boelter after what they're calling the biggest manhunt in state history. A little dramatic don't you think? Of course he also apparently visited the homes of two other lawmakers with "the intent to kill them." I mean you've got to admire the guy's commitment even if his methods are a tad... uncouth. I always preferred a more scientific approach myself.
The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle Applies Here
Boelter's facing state and federal charges and some of them could carry the death penalty. Well isn't that just a crying shame? Okay maybe not. But it does make you wonder who else is involved. Who put him up to it? What were they *really* after? This whole thing is messier than my basement after a batch gone wrong. As if he acted alone! You expect us to believe that?
Stay Out of My Territory... Or Else!
So here we are. A murdered politician a home invasion a possible conspiracy and a whole lot of unanswered questions. It's a real 'Breaking Bad' situation if I ever saw one. Just remember folks: tread lightly. You never know what's lurking just around the corner. And always always *always* know your chemistry. Just a little joke for you all.
