Another One Bites the Dust... Literally

Ugh politics. As if dealing with the Dominion wasn't enough now I have to hear about the tragic assassination of Minnesota State Representative Mellissa Hortman. Apparently some human named Vance Luther Boelter decided to play Zergling in real life and took her and her husband out. I guess 'embracing change' takes on a whole new meaning when it involves a firearm. Senator Amy Klobuchar called her a 'true public servant.' I bet she never had to command a Swarm though. Talk about public service!

When Impersonating a Cop Goes Horribly Wrong

So this Boelter guy apparently impersonated a police officer before turning into a real life Hydra. He also attacked State Senator John A. Hoffman and his wife Yvette. Klobuchar says they're 'hanging in there.' Hanging in there? Sounds like they need a good Ghost to cloak them or maybe a couple of Battlecruisers for backup. I mean come on! This isn't the Koprulu Sector but the level of chaos is definitely approaching infestation levels.

Don't Approach! I Said DON'T APPROACH!

Klobuchar is worried this Boelter fellow might try to steal someone's car or break into their house. Seriously? As if Terrans needed more reasons to be paranoid. She's advising the public to 'not approach' the suspect. Good advice. I'd add 'And if you do bring a Psi Disruptor. Or you know call the authorities. Your choice.' Me? I'd just send a few Spine Crawlers their way. Problem solved.

Manifest Destiny... of Lunacy

Apparently Boelter left behind a 'manifesto' with a bunch of names on it. Sounds like a recruitment list for a really messed up fan club. Klobuchar mentioned she's got extra security now even without asking for it. Welcome to my world Senator. Being a powerful woman in a galaxy full of trigger happy fools comes with the territory.

They think this Boelter is hiding out in the Midwest maybe even South Dakota. South Dakota? Seriously? That's like hiding in the middle of nowhere even for a Zerg Queen. Though I guess it's the perfect place to brood… Broodlings that is. Senator Klobuchar said 'We believe he's somewhere in the vicinity and that they are going to find him.' Well I hope so. Before he decides to start his own little Zerg colony. We have enough problems thanks.

Bottom line: this whole situation is a mess. A politically motivated assassination a manhunt and enough paranoia to make a Ghost blush. Let's hope they catch this Boelter soon. Before he decides to evolve into something truly nasty. I've seen enough mutations for one lifetime. Remember folks 'When the Queen comes all will fall before her.' And in this case that includes justice. So get it done.
