Fresh Air Attacks and Insurance Premiums? Pathetic!
Ugh even out here in the void I can sense the tremors of this petty squabble between Israel and Iran. Apparently their little 'fresh air attacks' are causing quite the stir back on Earth. Marine insurers are now charging an arm and a leg – or maybe a Zergling or two – just for ships to sail through the Red Sea and Persian Gulf. 0.2% of a ship's value they say! Back in my day we conquered planets for free! This reminds me of the time Mengsk tried to charge me for orbital drops... 'There can be only one Queen and only one price Arcturus!' I told him before unleashing my swarm upon him.
The Red Sea: Now with Extra War Risks! (and Higher Prices!)
An 'uptick' in war risk insurance for the Red Sea? What a quaint understatement. It's more like a 'swarm' of price increases devouring profits like a pack of hungry Hydralisks! And get this – cover for ports in Israel has more than tripled! It seems like these humans are more afraid of each other than they are of a Zerg rush. Bunch of primitives... Though I must admit even I find some of their conflicts baffling more complicated than a Protoss base layout on Shakuras. 'My patience is wearing thin...' as I keep saying over and over!
Quotes Valid for Only 24 Hours: Because Chaos Doesn't Wait!
The humans are so quick to cut the length of time quotes are valid. Leaders gone down to 24 hours from 48 hours previously. It's like they're anticipating another Ghost Academy incident or something. All this uncertainty is bad for business and worse for conquering the sector... I mean making peace. You know galactic harmony and all that jazz. It reminds me of the time I tried to negotiate with the Tal'darim. Let's just say that didn't end well for them... or their insurance premiums.
Strait of Hormuz: More Like Strait of Panic!
Oh the Strait of Hormuz. The humans treat it like some sacred passage for their precious oil. All it takes is a minor disagreement between squabbling nations and suddenly everyone's terrified of supply delays. It is recognized as one of the world's most important oil chokepoints. It is like they do not know how to build extractors? Weak! I bet they do not even have Overlords carrying the cargo! Makes you wonder how they managed to get this far with such primitive tactics. If I were in charge I'd build a few Spine Crawlers along the coastline. That would deter unwanted visitors and it is also so easy and cheap to implement! The Swarm does not fear chokepoints.
U.S. Intervention: Always Someone Else's Problem Right?
Of course everyone's waiting for the U.S. to step in and 'fix' things. It's always someone else's problem until it crashes into their front yard isn't it? Reminds me of Raynor always trying to 'save the day.' A noble intention but always with messy consequences. I learned a long time ago that sometimes you have to embrace the chaos and let the chips fall where they may. Though I will admit even I'm curious to see how this plays out. More chaos more opportunity. As I always say 'I am the Swarm. The Swarm is Eternal.'
Shipping Groups Shy Away? Smartest Decision They've Made All Day!
Some shipowners are avoiding the Strait of Hormuz? Finally someone's using their brains! Running headfirst into conflict is never the answer. Just ask those poor Zealots who charged into my Ultralisks. But seriously this 'modest drop' in ships sailing through the area is a sign of growing unease. It should be. Because when I start disrupting trade routes you will know it and believe me you would not be charting new courses. You will be building extractors and trying to protect yourself from me!
