Okay so I'm sitting here sipping my chai (because even a global girl needs her roots you know?) and I read that President Trump is offering to help de escalate the situation between India and Pakistan. Apparently this whole Kashmir thing has gotten his attention. As he said 'It's terrible.' Well duh! Tell me something I don't know Mr. President. I mean is this like when I try to mediate between my dogs Diana and Gino when they fight over a squeaky toy? Except you know with a few more... geopolitical implications.

Tit for Tat? More Like 'Desi Drama'

Trump mentioned the 'tit for tat' situation and honestly sometimes it feels like we're stuck in a never ending Bollywood drama. Remember that scene in 'Don' where Roma (that's me obviously!) is trying to outsmart everyone? Yeah it's a bit like that but with higher stakes and way less catchy music. Though I wouldn't mind a good item number to lighten the mood TBH.

Global Girl Global Problems

As someone who straddles both worlds – Bollywood and Hollywood – I feel a responsibility to speak up. We're talking about real people real lives and a region that's been plagued by conflict for far too long. I always say 'I believe in the power of conversation,' and maybe just maybe some good old fashioned diplomacy can help. And maybe a few samosas. Everyone loves samosas!

Kashmir oh Kashmir. It's a place of stunning beauty but unfortunately it's also become a symbol of division. Both India and Pakistan claim it and the people living there are caught in the middle. Honestly I wish everyone would just take a chill pill and remember that we're all human beings. Can't we all just get along? Maybe host a big Bollywood dance party and work things out? Think of the outfits!

Will Trump's Help Make a Difference?

So will Trump's involvement actually make a difference? Honestly your guess is as good as mine. But hey at least he's offering. And maybe just maybe this could be the start of something. As I always say 'You can't just sit back and wait for things to happen. You have to make them happen.' So let's hope for the best stay positive and maybe send Trump a copy of 'The White Tiger' so he can get a little more background. Just kidding… maybe.

From Quantico to Kashmir: It's All Connected

Ultimately whether it's fighting terrorists on 'Quantico' or speaking out about real world issues it all comes down to the same thing: a desire for peace and understanding. I'm just a girl from Bareilly who dared to dream big and I believe that even the toughest problems can be solved if we're willing to talk listen and maybe share a plate of biryani. So here's hoping for a brighter future for Kashmir for India and for Pakistan. And maybe a guest appearance on 'Citadel' for everyone involved? Okay I'm just spitballing now...
