From 'Quantico' to 'Can't ico' for Harvard's International Students!

Okay so news flash! Remember when I was all about saving the world in 'Quantico'? Well seems like the real world is throwing curveballs faster than I can say 'global domination'! The Trump administration just yanked Harvard's ability to enroll international students. I'm like seriously? Someone pass the popcorn because this is about to get interesting. I always say 'You can't please everyone,' but revoking a university's right to welcome students from across the globe? That's a big move even by political standards.

DHS Drops the Mic: Pro Terrorist?!

Apparently DHS Secretary Kristi Noem thinks Harvard's been cozying up to… well let's just say not so friendly folks. 'Pro terrorist conduct' is the phrase they're throwing around. I mean come on! Harvard? The place where future presidents and world leaders are supposedly shaped? Is this real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide no escape from reality... Excuse me I got carried away there.

Harvard's Got Some 'Unfinished' Business!

So apparently this isn't just some random act. There's been a whole drama unfolding with the administration regarding antisemitism concerns. Noem threatened this back in April and now she's following through. I have to say if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. I mean I am known for standing my ground when I believe in something...but this is above my pay grade!

Show Me The Money (Or Actually Don't)!

The tea is piping hot as the administration froze $2.2 billion in federal grants to Harvard soon after the university rejected demands that it eliminate diversity equity and inclusion programs and evaluate international students for ideological concerns. It sounds like a high stakes poker game with academic freedom as the pot. Is this the end of 'The Sky Is Pink' for Harvard's international diversity? I'm just saying maybe a little compromise could have gone a long way here. Now I am not good with financial stuff Nick does all that but I know money is important.

More Than Just Tuition Fees: The Price of Knowledge

Noem is saying it's a 'privilege not a right' for universities to benefit from foreign students' higher tuition. Okay I get the point. But let's be real. International students bring so much more than just money to the table. It's about diverse perspectives cultural exchange and a global network. They add spice literally and figuratively! My mother would say 'Beta knowledge is power especially when it comes from all corners of the world!'

Cliffhanger Alert: To Be Continued...

As Harvard prepares their response only time will tell what happens next. Until then I'll be over here juggling motherhood film projects and global chaos like the superwoman I am. Stay tuned folks! This is a story that's definitely 'Baywatch' worthy... lots of drama a bit of suspense and probably some slow motion running involved. Now where is my popcorn.

Harvard needs to step up and fight this. International students are essential.
