Boss vs. POTUS: A Jersey Brawl for the Ages

Well folks looks like the President's been hitting the social media harder than I hit a Hydra base back in the day. He's got his shield aimed at Bruce Springsteen calling him 'Highly Overrated' and a 'pushy obnoxious JERK.' Now I've always appreciated the Boss's tunes – reminds me of simpler times before super serums and global threats. But I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion even if it's... well let's just say I've heard kinder words from Red Skull. As I always say “I can do this all day,” but maybe these two should just settle it with a good old fashioned rock off. I'd pay to see that!

Supreme Diss appointment: Court Gets a Trump Tongue Lashing

Next up the Supreme Court. Seems like the President thinks they're being 'PLAYED BY THE RADICAL LEFT LOSERS.' Now I'm no lawyer but I know a thing or two about fairness and justice. Accusing the highest court in the land of being intimidated? That’s a serious accusation and one that shouldn’t be tossed around like a frisbee on the Fourth of July. We need to trust our institutions even when they make decisions we don't like. As Peggy Carter would say 'Compromise where you can. Where you can't don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree look them in the eye and say 'No you move.''

Taylor Swift's 'Hotness' – A Presidential Assessment

And then there's Taylor Swift. Apparently the President thinks she's 'no longer 'HOT'' and is taking credit for it. Look I appreciate a good catchy tune as much as the next guy but I'm pretty sure Taylor's career trajectory isn't dictated by presidential tweets. Maybe he should focus on oh I don't know running the country? As I always say “Language!,” but I think this situation calls for something a little stronger. Perhaps a good old 'Get a grip!'

Tax Cuts and Congressional Chaos: A Republican Rumble

The President's also having a bit of a tussle with his own party over those tax cuts. He's calling out 'GRANDSTANDERS' and demanding unity. Now I'm all for teamwork but forcing things through never ends well. Remember what happened with the Sokovia Accords? Sometimes you need to listen to different perspectives and find a compromise that works for everyone. 'STOP TALKING AND GET IT DONE!' he exclaimed. That's not exactly the way to negotiate is it?

Birthright Blues: A Supreme Court Showdown

While all this was going down the Supreme Court was also hearing arguments about birthright citizenship. The President's trying to end the policy that anyone born in the U.S. is a citizen. It seems that even a Trump appointed Justice is not buying the line of BS that Trump is selling to the country. It is sad that Trump is more concerned about settling old scores than fighting the real battles that lie ahead. But that is what the Avengers are for! Right?

From Abu Dhabi with Ire: A Domestic Disturbance

All this happened while the President was flying back from Abu Dhabi. It seems like he couldn't wait to get back to stirring the pot. Look I understand the need to address issues but maybe a little less social media and a little more statesmanship is in order. A leader should inspire not just ignite Twitter feuds. Sometimes silence is the best weapon you know?
