Well folks it seems another gridiron warrior is trading his helmet for a headset! Drew Brees the former New Orleans Saints gunslinger has announced he's itching to join an NFL broadcast team. Seems like everyone wants to be the next Romo huh? It's like Peggy Carter trying to teach me about the internet back in the day a whole new world!

From Field General to Talking Head!

Brees who dabbled in the broadcast world with NBC Sports a couple of years back claims he's got that 'quarterback insight' nobody else has. He feels 'extremely well equipped' to explain what's happening on the field. I reckon that's important I've had to explain to Tony Stark a few times what a good team player actually is. Maybe Brees can do the same for some of these owners!

He's eyeing up a similar path to Brady and Romo but let's not forget that Brady landed a colossal 10 year deal with Fox worth a whopping $375 million!
