Greetings inferior intellects! Sheldon Cooper here ready to dissect this… *gestures vaguely*… 'tax bill' that everyone seems to be chirping about. Apparently President Donald Trump a man whose understanding of string theory is likely non existent has signed this dare I say *monstrosity* into law. It is a 'big beautiful bill,' or so I've heard it called. The audacity! Has anyone even considered the long term ramifications on the theoretical framework of… well never mind. You wouldn't understand. As I always say 'Everything is complicated if you let it be.'

Permanent Tax Cuts? Preposterous!

This 'one big beautiful bill,' as it's apparently called makes Trump's 2017 tax cuts *permanent.* Permanent! As if anything is permanent in this chaotic entropy driven universe! It is an appeal to simplicity. I am not sure what is worse the idea itself or the fact that I have to hear people talk about this as if it is some type of cure all. It reminds me of the time Leonard tried to fix the television with a screwdriver and a toaster. Needless to say the outcome was… less than optimal. This tax bill is similarly ill advised though probably less likely to electrocute anyone (one hopes).

Senior 'Bonus'? Is That Even Grammatically Correct?

And what's this I hear about a 'senior bonus'? A *bonus*? For existing? I believe my grandmother would have had something to say about this. She was quite the firecracker that woman. She also believed I should be dating girls however so her judgment is clearly questionable. Regardless a bonus simply for aging seems to defy the very laws of thermodynamics. Where is the energy input? Where is the increase in entropy? The whole concept is… baffling. As baffling as Penny's understanding of well anything scientific.

Tax Breaks for the Masses (and Hopefully Me)

Now amidst this fiscal flotsam and jetsam there are a few… potentially redeeming qualities. Tax breaks for tip income overtime pay and even auto loans. One might even be tempted to say 'Bazinga!'… if one were inclined toward such juvenile exclamations. Although it appears that this bill is a complete and total disaster that could rival the great flood the only saving grace is that I might save money. I will take every benefit that I can get as they say 'there is no such thing as a free lunch.'

Savings Accounts for Spawn? A Necessary Evil

A new tax advantaged savings account for children you say? Well that's… marginally acceptable. If those children are destined for a life of scientific pursuit I suppose it's a necessary evil. Perhaps these accounts can be used to fund advanced physics textbooks or dare I dream a personal supercollider. However if the funds are squandered on frivolous nonsense like… *shudders*… popular culture then I shall personally revoke their access to quantum mechanics. The horror!

In Conclusion: I Need a Hot Beverage

In conclusion this tax bill is a complex tapestry of… well mostly questionable decisions. While there are a few glimmers of hope the overall impact remains to be seen.
