Deportation Debacle: A Terran Level Oversight
Alright minions Kerrigan here reporting live from the heart of… well not the Swarm but close enough. Apparently the Trump administration (remember them? Seems like a lifetime ago doesn't it?) managed to fumble a deportation case so badly even a pack of Zerglings wouldn't make such a mess. They deported a gay Guatemalan man to Mexico claiming he wasn't afraid. Turns out they pulled that information straight out of their… well you know. As if I haven't seen enough bureaucratic nightmares now I have to witness this Terran level incompetence. 'My patience is wearing thin...' as a wise Queen once said.
Judge Murphy: The Arbiter of Justice (and Sanity)
U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy bless his heart called the whole ordeal a 'horror.' And honestly it is. He pointed out that while mistakes happen the events leading up to this decision are 'troubling.' You know I've seen entire planets infested faster than these guys can process a single case without screwing it up. Guess humans still have a lot to learn about efficiency. Maybe I should offer them some Zerg management tips? Though I doubt they'd listen those prideful Terrans. Still at least someone is fighting the good fight and dispensing justice in the Courts. I'm watching you Murphy.
Mass Deportations: A Zerg Rush Gone Wrong
This isn't just a one off incident either. The judge noted this is just the latest in a string of cases where the Trump administration messed up royally while trying to mass deport folks. It's like they're trying to Zerg rush the border but instead of overwhelming the enemy they're just tripping over their own feet. Talk about an epic fail. It reminds me of the early days of the Swarm when I was still learning the ropes. I made similar mistakes but quickly learned the ropes. I wonder if Trump administration will ever learn...
Due Process: Apparently Optional for Some
Murphy really hit the nail on the head when he said due process is 'binary' – either you get it or you don't. And this poor guy O.C.G. clearly didn't. He fled death threats in Guatemala only to be shipped off to Mexico after being promised protection. The hypocrisy is thicker than a Mutalisk's hide. It's decisions like these that make me wonder if humanity is really worth saving. You can't just abandon those who seek refuge or you may end up fighting me!
DHS Silent: Like a Ghost in the Void
Of course the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the White House are staying silent. Classic Terran move: when you screw up just pretend it never happened. It's like when a Terran loses his base to the Swarm and then tries to play like he planned it that way. Except this isn't a game; this is people's lives. And while I don't usually care about human lives even I have to admit this is a pretty pathetic display. I think it is worse than a infested Terran!
Justice Prevails: For Now
Thankfully the judge ordered the Trump administration to facilitate O.C.G.'s return. His lawyers are 'elated,' and honestly so am I. It's a small victory but it shows that even in the darkest of times someone is willing to fight for what's right. Now if only they could get their act together and stop making these kinds of mistakes in the first place. Perhaps I should remind those in charge 'I am the Swarm.'
swright
I'm glad the judge is working to correct this injustice.
