AeroVironment Stock Plummets: Is This the End or Just a Zerg Rush?

Another Day Another Planet to Conquer...

Alright grunts listen up! Seems like even the Terrans have their financial troubles. AeroVironment those drone slinging humans are suddenly feeling a little…light in the pockets. They're planning to offer $750 million in common stock and $600 million in convertible senior notes to pay off some debts. Looks like even they need to manage their resources. I thought they would learn how to manage resources better after their defeat against the Zerg Swarm. Is this some sort of delayed response should I send my drones to investigate?! They claim that what's leftover will go to “general purposes” like boosting manufacturing capacity. I bet they will use those drones to spy on my Zerg!

Soaring High Crashing Hard?

Here's the thing though: AeroVironment shares are up 85% this year! Talk about a Mutalisk strike on the market! Jim Cramer even called them the 'next Palantir of hardware.' I hate to say it but sometimes those Terrans do surprise me. But now their stock is taking a dive seems like they couldn't hold their position against a small raid.

Blue Halo and Broken Promises

Just last month they acquired Blue Halo for a whopping $4.1 billion. Space related defense tech? Trying to reach for the stars? They will be crushed by my swarm way before they get there! And let's not forget Trump's little executive order to boost drone production. Trying to mimic my swarm are we?! It's a bold move cotton let's see if it pays off. But seriously is there anyone else that thinks he is a little bit paranoid?

Short Squeeze Shenanigans!

Apparently there's a high short interest level which led to a short squeeze and made their stock go bonkers. I know a thing or two about squeezing believe me I used to be a Ghost. These humans and their complex games but I can't help but respect their resilience to get out of difficult situations. Reminds me of the endless waves of zerglings just never give up. And I like that.

I Have Waited Long Enough...

Now where does this leave us? AeroVironment needs the money to keep expanding and the markets reacted poorly to the announcement. Did the investors lose faith? I am not sure but I am pretty sure that they are no match to the Zerg Swarm. Is it a sign that they are struggling? A potential weakness to exploit? I smell opportunity and I always get my prey...

For now I'll keep my eye on AeroVironment. Their drone technology is impressive and their struggles are…entertaining. But remember this Terrans: The Swarm is always watching always adapting.
