La Pulga Atomica Meets AI Art!
Hola amigos! It's your guy Leo Messi here to talk about something almost as exciting as scoring a last minute goal against Real Madrid – AI! I know I know you're thinking 'Messi stick to football!' But even I can't ignore this crazy world of artificial intelligence that's changing everything. Now Adobe those guys who make Photoshop (you know the thing that makes my hair look even better in ads!) are launching a mobile version of their AI image generator Firefly. Looks like they want to go head to head with OpenAI the guys behind that ChatGPT thing everyone's talking about.
Firefly on the Go: Pocket Sized Picasso?
Apparently this Firefly app is going to let creatives sketch up ideas on their phones while they're say stuck in traffic or maybe even during a boring team meeting (don't tell coach!). Imagine whipping up a killer ad campaign on your way to work! As Alexandru Costin from Adobe said they want it to be like a 'creative partner that sits with you all the time.' Sounds a bit clingy but hey if it helps me design my next pair of golden boots I'm in!
New Models Unveiled: Hyperrealism Overload!
Adobe is also showing off their new AI models: Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra. They say these can make hyper realistic pictures and videos from just text prompts. Basically you type in 'Messi lifting the World Cup again,' and boom instant masterpiece! Jokes aside they are also launching Firefly Video Model for video generation. The company is saying that this will be in a safe way blocking the inclusion of any intellectual property. Good I don't want any knockoff Messis running around!
OpenAI's Anime Obsession: GPUs Melting Faster Than My Defenses!
Now the competition is heating up. OpenAI released this image generation feature that went viral for making anime images. Even Sam Altman the boss over there said their GPUs were 'melting' from all the demand. It's like when I score a hat trick – everyone goes crazy! But hey at least my goals don't melt computer chips.
Teammates or Rivals? A Little Bit of Both!
What's interesting is that Adobe isn't afraid of teaming up with the competition. They're working with OpenAI Google and Runway to add their AI tools to Firefly. As Costin said 'Competition is great.' It reminds me of playing against Cristiano Ronaldo – we push each other to be better even though we're rivals on the pitch. 'It's about understanding the needs of creatives giving them the technology to help serve their needs,' he added.
The Beautiful Game of AI: What's Next?
So what does this all mean? Well it means that AI is becoming a bigger part of the creative world and even a simple guy like me can appreciate that. Whether it's designing golden boots or creating killer ad campaigns on the go AI is changing the game. Now if you'll excuse me I have a date with a football and maybe just maybe I'll use Firefly to design my next celebration dance. ¡Vamos!
