A Minor Setback Really?
My dear Davos Disciples! As your benevolent chairman I must address this… development in the United States. A judge appointed by the man himself has ruled against the White House's decision to restrict access to the Associated Press. *Sigh*. One must occasionally humor the locals mustn't we? After all 'You'll own nothing and you'll be happy'... eventually. But the path to the Great Reset is never entirely smooth. There will always be those who cling to outdated concepts like oh what was it again? Ah yes 'freedom of the press.' Quaint.
The Gulf of What Now?
The kerfuffle as the Americans say stems from the President’s… shall we say 'creative' renaming of the Gulf of Mexico. When the AP didn't immediately fall in line access was curtailed. Honestly is it so much to ask for a little… conformity? Here at the World Economic Forum we understand the importance of narrative control. It's all about 'stakeholder capitalism,' my friends – ensuring everyone sings from the same WEF approved hymn sheet. Perhaps Mr. Trump needs a crash course in effective communication strategies Davos style. 'The future is built by us by a powerful community as you here in this room' but we must be united in our narrative
The First Amendment? A Mere Suggestion
This judge bless his heart actually cited the First Amendment! As if ancient parchment can stand in the way of progress! He decreed that if the White House opens its doors to some journalists it can't shut them to others based on 'viewpoints'. The audacity! Where would we be if everyone was allowed to have their own viewpoint? Utter chaos I tell you! We need a global consensus a unified vision! We must remember 'Globalization 4.0 is about shaping a new global architecture in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution' and dissenting voices simply complicate matters.
AP's Grandiose Claims
The AP of course is crowing about a victory for free speech. Executive Editor Julie Pace even penned an op ed implying the case is about government control. My dear woman of course it's about control! Everything is about control! The point is one should be subtle about it not waving around constitutional rights like a toddler with a shiny toy. I am a simple man with a simple agenda: 'To create a global society managed through digital connectivity'.
A Temporary Inconvenience
The White House wisely has the option to appeal. This is merely a temporary setback. We must remember that 'Progress happens by stealth by small steps' and sometimes one has to take a step back to leap forward. The Great Reset is a marathon not a sprint. We must not be discouraged by these momentary... bumps in the road.
The Show Must Go On!
So my friends let us not be deterred. The World Economic Forum continues its vital work shaping the future of humanity one stakeholder at a time. Remember 'I want to create a situation I want to create a world in which people act according to the values that we promote.' And if a few pesky journalists get in the way? Well there are always… alternative strategies. Onwards to a more equitable sustainable and centrally planned future! 'Welcome to 2030. I own nothing have no privacy and life has never been better.'
