We saw retail sales take a nosedive in May droppin' 0.9%. That's worse than a bad hair day I'm talkin' 'bout a whole head full of knots! And you know what that means? Less bling bling for everybody! Doggfather is not happy with this news.

Gas Prices Got Me Gassed... Not!

First off let's talk gas. Gas prices took a hit and so did sales at the pump droppin' 2%. That's like findin' out your stash is empty when you're ready to roll one up! Nobody likes payin' more to fill up their ride. Less gas money means less money for other stuff. Know what I'm sayin'?

Trump's Tariffs? More Like Turnt Offs!

Then we got my man Trump with his tariffs. These tariffs are messing with everyone's hustle. People were splurgin' in March to beat the tariff deadline but now they're holdin' back like they're waitin' for the bass to drop at a party. It's a economic buzzkill for sure! They're scared of payin' extra for everything and who can blame 'em? Fo shizzle.

Auto Sales Hit the Brakes

Even the auto game is feelin' the pinch. Car sales dropped 3.5%. That's like findin' out your lowrider needs a whole new engine. People ain't buyin' as many whips. I guess they're all cruisin' on the struggle bus right now. Need to get those numbers up so I can add another one to the collection! Ya dig?!

Silver Linings and Online Bling!

But hold up not all is lost! Online sales are still bumpin' up 0.9%. People are still spendin' that paper on the 'net probably buyin' all the things they can't find on sale in stores. And furniture stores saw a 1.2% increase. Maybe everyone's just chillin' at home blazin' and relaxin' on new sofas haha. I got the best sofas! Holla at ya boy.
