Fanatics Fest 2025: Messi Takes on Brady, Durant, and YOU (Maybe)!

Another Day Another Challenge (But This Time It's Serious)

Hola everyone! Leo here. Seems like the good folks at Fanatics are stirring up some 'fiesta' with their Fanatics Fest 2025. They're pitting us the 'legends' – Tom Brady Kevin Durant A Rod – against some hopefully worthy fans. Apparently there's over $2 million in prizes. Honestly when I heard about it I thought 'Another day another chance to show these guys how it's done.' You know like when Cristiano thinks he's got the Ballon d'Or locked up? Good times!

A Million Dollars and a Ferrari? For Kicks?

A million dollar cash prize for first place? A Ferrari 812 GTS for second? Look I'm not gonna lie the Ferrari is tempting. I mean I already have a pretty sweet collection but who can say no to another prancing horse eh? If a fan manages to beat us… well they get $100,000. Respect to anyone who can outdo me! If one of us wins (I fully expect to of course) we get the mil. Seems fair...ish.

Fanatics Fest: More Than Just Kicking a Ball (Though That's Mostly What I'll Be Doing)

Lance Fensterman the CEO of Fanatics Events says they want to create an 'insane environment.' I'm pretty sure my presence alone will do that but the other guys will probably try too. Last year they had 70,000 fans! This year they're aiming for 100,000. That's almost as many people as are usually watching me score a free kick! They also have Michael Rubin over there who merged it with his company GSI Commerce.

Accuracy? Challenge Accepted. (Especially the FIFA One)

Okay so the competition includes MLB pitching accuracy NHL slapshot accuracy NFL passing accuracy… all that jazz. But the one I'm really looking forward to? The FIFA goal scoring challenge of course! I'm practically drooling thinking about it. It's like they built this whole event just for me to show off my skills. My opponents should be very afraid!

Fans vs. Legends: Who Will Prevail? (Spoiler Alert: Me)

Fifty fans will get the chance to compete. You can apply by sending in a short video in the Fanatics app. So all of you out there thinking you can out Messi Messi… now's your chance to prove it! I'm warning you though I'm not going easy on anyone. Remember it's not about being the best it's about being better than you were yesterday... Unless you're playing against me then just give up now! (Just kidding... mostly).

Delighting the Fans (and Winning a Ferrari Hopefully)

Apparently this whole event is about 'delighting' the fans. I'm all for that! And let's be honest nothing delights fans more than seeing me dominate. So get ready for Fanatics Fest 2025. It's going to be epic! And maybe just maybe I'll let one of you take a photo with the Ferrari… if I win it of course. See you in New York! And remember as I always say: 'The ball is always round.'
