A Plane Bad Day

Well folks looks like someone didn't 'tread lightly.' A Boeing 787 Dreamliner Air India Flight 171 to be exact decided to take an unscheduled detour to a residential area in Ahmedabad. Crashed. Boom. Gone. Apparently it went down faster than my patience with Jesse's cooking skills. 242 souls on board. That's a whole lotta... well you know. And they are saying 'no survivors' but there is always that one guy. Always a Mr. Magoo that gets away from the mess.

625 Feet High 475 Feet per Minute: Not Exactly Up Up and Away

The reports say the flight barely made it to 625 feet before plummeting like a meth deal gone wrong – a vertical speed of 475 feet per minute. That's not flying; that's falling with style. Makes you wonder what exactly happened up there. Pilot error? Mechanical failure? Maybe someone forgot to engage the 'fly' switch. 'Yeah science!' Except you know when it doesn't work.

Boeing's 'Empire Business'

Boeing of course is 'ready to support'. Sure they are. Probably sweating bullets hoping this isn't another one of their 'quality' issues. They've been trying to clean up their act after a string of mishaps but it seems they are a bit like Jesse trying to follow instructions. Always room for improvement but a whole lotta room for error. The stock price is taking a nosedive too which is always fun to watch.

Blame Game: It's Never My Fault Yo

The investigation is underway naturally. Everyone's pointing fingers because well nobody wants to be the one who 'broke bad'. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board is sending a team. Because when things go wrong 'Better call Saul!' Or you know the NTSB. Same difference right?

Paris Air Show: Talk About Bad Timing

And just before the Paris Air Show too! Where Boeing and Airbus were supposed to be flaunting their wares and raking in orders. Talk about bad timing. It's like trying to sell blue sky meth after the DEA just raided your lab. Good luck with that fellas.

Remember My Name

So there you have it. Another tragedy another investigation another reminder that life is fragile and sometimes you're just along for the ride... even if that ride ends in a fiery crash. Remember my name. Or don't. Either way I'll be watching.
