Remember Neo there is no spoon... but there are apparently a lot of warships.

The Architect's Game Plan

The Architect in his infinite complexity probably has a spreadsheet detailing all this. Something about 'resolute punishment' for Taiwan's 'provocations for independence.' Sounds like someone's been reading the same script for the last century. Zhu Fenglian a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office says 'Taiwan independence means war.' It's like saying breathing means needing air. Profound I know. But is it choice? Or is it simply illusion?

Guns Lots of Guns!

So what's on the menu? Assaults blockades and all sorts of fun and games to 'test the joint operation capabilities' of the troops. Lyle Morris from Asia Society thinks this is a 'large exercise.' Well duh. It's like saying Agent Smith has a slight temper problem. You think?!

The American Contingency: The Plot Thickens

Ah America. Always the wildcard. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth (a name that sounds suspiciously like a Matrix agent) is busy beefing up military ties with Japan and the Philippines. Missile systems troops the whole shebang. They call it 'credible deterrence.' I call it adding more code to the simulation. Remember the only way to survive is to adapt learn and... improvise.

Hsiao Kuang wei a spokesperson for Taiwan's foreign affairs ministry is 'welcoming and appreciative' of the support. Bless their hearts. They're fighting the good fight... or at least trying to stay out of the splash zone. I wonder what the Oracle would say about all this. Probably something cryptic about cookies and choices.

Deja Vu All Over Again

And so the dance continues. Jets buzzing ships sailing tensions rising. Taiwan's defense ministry is monitoring the situation activating land based missile systems. It's a digital war but the stakes are very real. Remember there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Which path will they choose? The red pill? Or the blue pill...again?!
