Giggity Giggity All Right A Blizzard's Here

Well hello there. It's your pal Glen Quagmire reporting live from the snowy trenches of… well not my trench thankfully. A gentleman needs to keep his trench coat dry you know. This blizzard's got everyone in the Northeast hunkered down and let me tell you some of those bunkers are mighty appealing. They're calling it a potentially historic and destructive storm which sounds like a typical Saturday night for me except instead of snowflakes it's usually… well you get the picture. Giggity.

Travel Bans and School Closures Giggity Style

They've banned travel in New York Rhode Island and New Jersey. Even DoorDash is taking a break can you believe it? What's a guy to do when he can't get a pizza delivered? Guess I'll have to rely on my own… *ahem*… resources. Schools are closed which means more time for the youngsters to… stay inside of course. Safety first kids. Although I do recall some *interesting* snow days back in my day. Oh and speaking of staying safe in face of difficult times Oversold Stocks and AI Fears The Shelby Company Perspective is a good read.

Bomb Cyclone Giggity Pow

They're throwing around terms like "bomb cyclone," which frankly sounds like something I'd order at a bar. Turns out it's a real weather phenomenon. A meteorologist named Frank Pereira even said the storm might become one. I bet he gets all the ladies with that kind of talk. "Hey baby wanna see my isobaric chart?"

Cozy Mission Gigitty Accept It

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani called it the first "old school snow day since 2019." He also gave kids a mission to "stay cozy." Cozy eh? Now he's talking my language. Meanwhile outreach workers are trying to get the homeless into shelters which is a good thing. Nobody wants to be cold and alone… unless they're into that sort of thing.

Preparing Gigitty

Speaking of preparations John Berlingieri scrapped his family trip to Puerto Rico to get his snow removal company ready. Now that's dedication. Although I gotta say Puerto Rico sounds a lot more appealing than shoveling snow. He's anticipating a week of around the clock work. That's… a lot. Reminds me of a certain time I spent in… never mind.

Stay Safe and Giggity All Night

So stay safe out there folks. Keep warm keep cozy and maybe find someone to… share the warmth with. And remember if you're stuck inside there's always something to do. Just don't blame me for whatever happens. Giggity.
