Like Peas and Carrots: Broadcom's AI Bonanza
Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get. But Broadcom they seem to know exactly what they're getting with this AI thing. They're making chips and these chips are making money lots of it. Reminds me of when I invested in Apple. They reported earnings that were better than expected and revenues were up too. Turns out folks need those chips for all sorts of newfangled AI stuff. Broadcom's CEO Hock Tan he sounds like a smart fella talking about $100 billion in AI chip revenue by 2027. That's a lot of shrimp boats I mean chips.
Run Broadcom Run: Outpacing Expectations
Remember when I ran across the country? Well Broadcom is kinda doing the same thing outpacing everyone's expectations. They made more money than people thought they would around $19.31 billion compared to the $19.18 billion folks were guessing. It's like when I played ping pong I just kept my eye on the ball and didn't let anything distract me. I was a natural. And just like me Broadcom seems to be doing things naturally and they keep their eye on the chip revenue that keeps going up up up. I was reading about this other company too something about [CONTENT]. You can read more about this here: Salesforce Stumbles Investors Fret Over AI Impact
Stupid is as Stupid Does: AI's Impact on Software
Some folks are worried that this AI thing might mess with software companies but Mr. Tan seems to think his company is safe. "Our infrastructure software is not disrupted by AI," he said. Now I don't know much about software but I know that sometimes things just work out. Like when I started that shrimping business. People told me I was crazy but we made a killing. Sometimes you just gotta trust your gut like Lieutenant Dan always told me. Well before he got his legs back.
That's All I Have to Say About That: Future Investments
Broadcom's got big plans. They're buying back $10 billion worth of their own shares which sounds like a lot of money even to me and they’re investing in new technologies to improve chip performance. It's like Jenny always said "You've gotta invest in yourself Forrest." And that’s exactly what Broadcom is doing investing in themselves and in the future. I wonder if they need any shrimpers turned investors maybe I would just invest in Apple again though I had luck with that one.
Life is a Box of Chocolates: AI and the Giants
Broadcom is helping big companies like Amazon Google Meta and Microsoft with their custom chips. It seems everyone wants a piece of this AI pie. It's like when I played football everyone wanted to be on the winning team. And right now Broadcom seems to be on the winning team making those chips that everyone wants from Wi Fi to other complex thingamajigs.
We Were Always a Good Company: Advanced Packaging
Now they're even investing in this newfangled thing called glass substrates. Sounds fancy but it's all about making those chips work better for AI stuff. See advanced packaging is another area where Broadcom is investing. Mama always said that "Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get" but if you ask me Broadcom seems to know exactly what they are going to get. That's all I have to say about that.
