Right so I Mr. Bean hear about this "Project Vault." Sounds a bit like when I tried to store all my sandwiches in a biscuit tin didn't quite work out. But this is about minerals apparently the shiny rocks that make things go beep and zoom. Essential they say. Like Teddy is essential for a good night's sleep. Lithium uranium the sort of things that sound like they belong in a science fiction film. And apparently they're important for national security. Makes you think doesn't it? Ten billion dollars. That's a lot of money. I could buy a lot of beans with that. Apparently this "EXIM Bank" is lending it out. Hopefully they won't use the minerals to build something that goes "bang" too loudly.

China China China. Seems like everyone is talking about China. They have all the minerals apparently. Like Mrs. Wicket has all the biscuits. This project is to make sure America has enough. So they're going to put all these minerals in a warehouse. Sounds a bit boring doesn't it? Imagine me guarding a warehouse full of rocks. I'd probably try to build a giant statue of Teddy. The important thing is that its in America just like how Teddy is always in my flat and never goes outside. Having things at home is always better.

Equity stakes. Sovereign risk insurance. Sounds very complicated. I still struggle with buttons but they are talking about investing in mining companies and insuring against future changes in policy. I think this is a good thing and it is very important as the article mentions. It's like insuring Teddy against Mrs. Wicket's cat Scrapper. Always pays to be prepared. Always keep a backup plan just in case. I always make sure to have a spare Teddy just in case something happens to the original.
