Iran's actions in the Gulf have caused widespread disruption and distrust. Its like when I tried to fly and got stuck on the power line.

Iran's Neighborly Nudge Or More Like A Punch In The Face

Alright folks Peter Griffin here your friendly neighborhood… uh… news guy. So Iran's been having a bit of a tiff with its neighbors. According to some fancy pants report they've been launching strikes and then saying "Oops sorry but those U.S. military fellas are fair game." Sounds like when I accidentally set Quagmire's house on fire while trying to make a barbecue. Giggity.

Blame it on America or the American Pie

Now Iran claims they're just defending themselves against those pesky Americans and Israelis. They're saying those U.S. military bases are "legitimate targets." Seems like a convenient excuse for well blowing stuff up. I once told Lois that setting the kitchen on fire was a legitimate way to cook dinner. It didn't end well and neither will this. And speaking of things going wrong in spectacular fashion you should check out Yabba Dabba Downturn Stocks Rocked by Oil and Jobs for another tale of economic woe.

The "Oops I Didn't Mean To" Apology Tour

Here's where it gets interesting. They've been apologizing for hitting places like Saudi Arabia the United Arab Emirates Qatar and Bahrain. But then they go and do it again. It's like when I apologize to Lois for maxing out the credit card and then immediately buy a giant TV. Doh! But now the trust is gone between the countries and the Gulf countries are not impressed with this type of behaviour.

Bombs Away or Damage Control

Despite the "oops" apologies Iran's been hitting critical energy infrastructure oil facilities and even civilian targets like airports and hotels. It appears they want to make their neighbors really really uncomfortable and I have to admit that this reminds me of the time when I tried to build a robot and it went rouge and started running amok.

Global Economy Shaken Not Stirred

Some folks believe this is all a ploy to get Gulf states to pressure the U.S. and Israel to chill out. But as Michael Herzog pointed out it hasn't exactly made Iran popular and the Gulf states are not impressed. The disruption of the economy is evident and the trust is at an all time low. Either way the global economy is getting a bit of a shake up like when I tried to make a smoothie and accidentally created a black hole. Freakin' sweet

What Does It All Mean Lois

So what's the takeaway here? Iran's playing a dangerous game that's causing chaos in the Gulf and making everyone nervous. Will things calm down? Who knows? But it's something to keep an eye on unless you're busy watching reruns of "Funniest Home Videos" like me. Hehehehe. This story will be very interesting for times to come.
