Holy Crap Lois They Hit Amazon

Alright folks Peter Griffin here reporting live from my recliner. Seems like those wacky Iranians are at it again only this time they've gone after Amazon's data centers in Bahrain. Turns out they're not too happy with Amazon helping out the US military. You know like that time I tried to join the Coast Guard well it wasn't pretty.

Drones Data Centers and Disaster Oh My

So these data centers got hit by drone strikes. Bahrain and the UAE both took a beating. And get this all the facilities are still offline. That's like when I tried to fix the toaster and ended up blowing out the whole house. According to Fars News Agency and who knows if they're reliable it was all about sticking it to the enemy. Apparently these data centers were helping the US military and intelligence which Iran wasn't thrilled about. It's like when Meg tries to give me advice you know I listen for a split second before completely ignoring her.

Power Outages Water Damage and General Mayhem

So on top of the structural damage there were power outages and water damage. Sounds like a regular Tuesday at the Griffin household. AWS is telling everyone to back up their data and move their stuff elsewhere which seems like a good idea unless you're like me and 'backing up data' means throwing it all in a shoebox.

Remote Work and Middle East Madness

Amazon's told all their corporate employees in the Middle East to work remotely which makes sense. I mean who wants to be dodging drones when you could be dodging work from the comfort of your own home? Although knowing me I'd probably just end up watching TV and eating Cheetos.

What Does This Mean For Us Quahogians

Look folks it's simple. The world's a crazy place. Drones are blowing stuff up. Countries are fighting. And Amazon is getting caught in the crossfire. Just remember to back up your data don't trust anyone and always have a good beer in hand. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go find a giant chicken to fight. Heheheheheh.
