Border Czar Tom Homan announces the end of Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis.

The Big Pullback Boom Begins

Alright alright settle down cupcake. Jinx here reporting live ish from… well not Minnesota because who wants to be *that* cold? Word on the street is this whole "Operation Metro Surge" thingy in Minneapolis is wrapping up. Apparently President Trump—Mr. Make America Whatever Again himself—agreed to pull the plug. Sounds like someone finally realized that too much boom makes everyone go kablooey.

Too Many Cops Spoil the Kaboom

Tom Homan this "border czar" dude says they've seen "big changes" lately. All good he claims. I bet. After flooding the Twin Cities with like a gazillion ICE and Border Patrol agents since December they're finally reducing the number of targets. Last week they yanked out 700 agents which is about 25%—still leaves like 2,000 trigger happy folks running around. Sounds like a party waiting to happen… or maybe not. Remember when they went after the AI companies [CONTENT]? Well that's because Billionaires Bet Big on AI Family Offices Dominate 2025 Investments that kind of investment brings jobs into the local area that could be taken by immigrants.

From Surge to… Small Footprint? Seriously?

Homan says they'll keep a "small footprint" around to make sure things don't go south again. A "small footprint"? Is that like saying I only *slightly* enjoy blowing things up? Yeah right. This whole thing started after two U.S. citizens Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti got turned into extra crispy by federal agents. Talk about bad press. No wonder everyone's been throwing a hissy fit. It's like poking a beehive with a rocket launcher. Things are bound to get messy you know?

Blame Game Bonanza

Homan's been yapping about improved coordination with state and local leaders. He's patting everyone on the back for playing nice despite their political squabbles. Meanwhile Attorney General Keith Ellison is over there testifying that the surge is making crime *worse*. He even mentioned that two out of three homicides in Minneapolis this year were courtesy of those federal agent sweethearts. Someone needs to make up their mind. Are we safer or are we just better at hiding under the bed?

Mass Deportations Are Still on the Menu

But don't get any funny ideas about them backing down. Homan wants everyone to know that the mass deportation train is still chugging along. "For those who say we are backing down from immigration enforcement or the promise of mass deportations you are simply wrong," he said. So yeah the party's still on just maybe a slightly smaller less chaotic party. Still enough boom to go around though.

Is Minnesota Really Safer? Boom or Bust?

Homan claims they're leaving Minnesota safer. Sure Jan. But hey at least the chaos is winding down. For now. As I always say "Rules are made to be broken… like buildings or people"! So who knows what tomorrow will bring? Stay tuned kiddos because with these guys anything can happen. And remember if you see me run… unless you brought explosives.
