A Spot of Legal Trouble for Mr. Trump

Right so apparently there's been a bit of a kerfuffle involving some papers and a judge Judge Cannon you see. She's decided that a report about Mr. Trump keeping some important documents shouldn't be shown to everyone. It's all a bit like when I tried to hide my exam answers except much more serious of course. I mean nobody wants their private things aired out for everyone to see do they? Especially not if it involves you know really important things. Teddy would understand.

The Judge's Decision A Bit Like My Parking

Judge Cannon seems to think the chap investigating Mr. Smith wasn't quite properly appointed. A bit like when I parked in that spot reserved for diplomats – technically wrong but sometimes you just have to don't you? She reckons that releasing this report could cause harm to Mr. Trump and his mates and that it wouldn't be very fair. I once entered my Mini in a car show and was unfairly disqualified. You know sometimes it's not about winning it's about taking part... unless you're disqualified. Speaking of winning and fairness you might find this interesting: Instacart Delivers Strong Q4 and Optimistic Forecasts Stock Surges. Seems like someone is following the rules properly.

Fairness Presumption of Innocence and Teddy

Now I'm no lawyer but even I know everyone's supposed to be innocent until proven otherwise. It’s all about "the presumption of innocence" as they say. Imagine if everyone thought I was guilty of say accidentally replacing the church minister's trousers with my swimming trunks *before* they even heard my side of the story. I can assure you I had my reasons and Teddy was right behind me. It is a question of integrity really.

Co Defendants Request A Team Effort

Seems Mr. Trump's chums Mr. Nauta and Mr. de Oliveira also didn't want this report released. A bit like when Mrs. Wicket Irma Gobb and I all teamed up to catch Scrapper. Working together is a good thing even if it's just to keep secrets safe. Unless of course those secrets involve eating all the biscuits before Mrs. Wicket gets to them.

Curious Footnote A Loophole or Acknowledgment

Judge Cannon added a little note saying her decision could be overturned. It's a bit like saying "I'm right but maybe I'm not." Or like when I say I'm good at bowling right before knocking down all the pins... except it's the ones on the other lane. Always good to cover your bases just in case.

The Waiting Game Appeals and Such

So it all boils down to waiting to see what the bigger judges say. It's a bit like waiting for the bus when it's raining. You just have to stand there hope for the best and try not to get too wet. Hopefully in this case everyone gets a fair ride like on the top of my Mini.
