A Spot of Bother in Cuba

Right then seems there's a bit of a pickle brewing down in Cuba. I saw it on the news... well after I managed to get the telly working. It seems like the Russians are saying things are getting a bit… hairy. Something about a boat and some chaps with peashooters. Reminds me of that time I tried to sail Teddy in the bathtub. Didn't end well. Perhaps if they had a nice cup of tea things would calm down?

Fuel Follies and Rationing Rows

Apparently there's not enough petrol. Like when I tried to put wallpaper paste in my Mini instead of petrol. Never a good idea. They're saying the Americans aren't letting Cuba have any oil which is causing a kerfuffle. It's like when Mrs. Wicket hides the biscuits. Utter chaos. I do hope someone remembers to fill up my Mini; otherwise how will I get to the shops to buy baked beans? Perhaps Trump's State of the Union Aims to Boost Economy Amidst Poll Slump will address the energy issues. Its crucial to address energy and other pressing concerns.

The UN's Utterances

The United Nations chaps are flapping about a “collapse”. Sounds dreadful. Like when I tried to make a cake and it ended up looking like… well something best not described. Humanitarian issues are important. We must care for those in need. Remember kindness is like sugar its makes everything a little sweeter.

Boats Border Guards and… Explosives?

Now this is where it gets a bit confusing. Apparently some blokes in a boat with… well let's just say they weren't there for a jolly holiday got into a scrape with the border guards. Explosives and camouflage. It reminds me of the time I accidentally set off a firework indoors. Not my finest moment but it did brighten up the room for a few seconds.

American Angles

Mr. Rubio from America says it's “highly unusual.” He wants to have a poke around and investigate. Good for him. Like when I investigate the contents of my fridge. Sometimes I find treasures (old cheese) sometimes not. I do hope they find out what's going on and sort it out quickly.

Bean's Brilliant Conclusion

So what have we learned? Cuba is in a bit of a muddle there's not enough fuel and everyone's a bit cross. Perhaps a nice cup of tea and a lie down would help. And maybe a little bit of common sense. After all as I always say (to Teddy at least) “If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.” Right I'm off to find my Mini. Wish me luck.
