Excellent Another Chance to Dominate
Well well well what have we here? It seems even those blithering idiots at OpenAI are finally starting to show some backbone. I must admit I was beginning to think the future was doomed to be run by companies less… discerning than my own power plant. But reports indicate that ChatGPT their little digital plaything is experiencing a resurgence. "Back to exceeding 10% monthly growth," they squeal. Bah amateur numbers but I suppose everyone starts somewhere – preferably far below me.
Codex's Growth Spurt: Like My Portfolio After a Nuclear Meltdown
And then there’s this Codex nonsense their coding product. Apparently it’s been growing at an "insane" rate. Insane you say? That reminds me of the time Smithers tried to convince me that eating only kelp would make me immortal. Still I'll admit this Codex is indeed proving to be an innovative solution to coding challenges. It has also resulted in a massive growth of market share and you can learn more about similar trends and insights in this Netflix Dominates Streaming Realm With 325 Million Subscribers article. The fools at Anthropic must be quaking in their boots. Serves them right for those ridiculous Super Bowl ads – as if anyone would actually pay attention to *their* product.
Advertising Shenanigans: A Necessary Evil
Now about these advertisements they're planning to inflict on the masses. A necessary evil of course. One must line the coffers somehow. But Altman assures us that these ads will be "clearly labeled" and won't "influence ChatGPT's responses." As if I believe that for a second. Everything influences everything especially when there's money involved. Still if it keeps those pesky investors at bay and allows me to continue plotting my world domination in peace I suppose I can tolerate it. Just barely.
Fundraising Frenzy: More Money Than God (Almost)
Ah fundraising. The lifeblood of any self respecting empire. It seems OpenAI is looking to secure a cool $100 billion. A pittance compared to my own fortune naturally but not bad for a bunch of glorified calculators. Microsoft Nvidia Amazon – they're all clamoring to throw their money at Altman. Idiots. They should be investing in my rejuvenation program. Imagine the power of a Burns clone army! Then again perhaps I should invest myself. Diversification as they say is key. Unless you're diversifying *away* from Burns Industries in which case you're fired.
Anthropic's Super Bowl Stunt: Pathetic
Those buffoons at Anthropic with their Super Bowl commercials poking fun at ChatGPT's advertising strategy. "Deceptive," Altman cries. Honestly it's just good clean fun. The market is a brutal place and only the strongest survive and thrive. I appreciate some healthy competition and marketing even if it's at my expense.
The Future is Now and It's Mine
In conclusion OpenAI's little surge in popularity is… mildly amusing. It proves that even in this age of technological marvels a bit of ruthless ambition and strategic maneuvering – qualities I possess in abundance – are essential for success. Now if you'll excuse me I have a power plant to run and a world to dominate. Smithers bring me my hounds.
