Breaking the Code of Silence

Alright listen up. This ain't no fairytale. Buffett the money guy finally opened his yap about the whole Bill Gates and Epstein mess. He said he ain't talked to Gates since the whole thing went public. "I haven't talked to him at all since the whole thing was unveiled," he tells CNBC. Smart move if you ask me. Sometimes silence is golden especially when the feds might come knocking. As I always say "I tell the truth even when I lie."

Avoiding the Witness Stand

Buffett's playing it smart see? He doesn't wanna be dragged into court testifying under oath. "I don't want to be in a position where I know things...to be called as a witness," he admits. That's the kind of foresight you need in this world. Better to stay out of the kitchen when things get too hot. Speaking of heat you know what else is hot? The insights in this article: US and China Find Common Ground in Paris Talks. This kind of thing is very important to know in this world and that's why I'm so happy to be bringing it to you.

The Ultimate Con Man

Buffett's amazed by Epstein's skills. He calls him "the con man of all time." He figured out how to exploit people's weaknesses – sex and taxes according to Buffett. "That guy must have been the con man of all time," Buffett said. "He had a way of conning everybody." Reminds me of some characters I've met back in Miami always looking for an angle. But Epstein? He took it to a whole new level.

A Bullet Dodged

Turns out Gates could have introduced Buffett to Epstein but he didn't. Buffett's grateful for that. "I got him to thank for not doing that," he said. Sometimes the deals you don't make are the best ones. You gotta know when to walk away even if it means leaving money on the table. As I always said "I always tell the truth. Even when I lie."

Gates Steps Up

Gates is gonna face the music. He accepted an invitation to testify before the House Oversight Committee about his dealings with Epstein. His spokesperson says he "welcomes the opportunity to appear before the Committee." Let's see what he has to say. The truth always comes out sooner or later. "You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little friend." The truth can be a little friend or a big enemy.

Cleaning Up the Mess

Buffett says it best: "I think until it gets cleared up it doesn't make sense to do a lot of talking." Smart man. Let the investigation run its course. Then we'll see who's left standing. In the meantime I'm gonna keep my nose clean and my eyes open. This world is full of surprises and you never know what's coming next. I always say "The eyes chico. They never lie."
