Is It Chaos or Is It Cuba?
Well well well… look what we have here. Another nationwide blackout in Cuba. Three times this month alone. You know what they say three's a crowd… or in this case a catastrophe. The question isn't whether the lights are on or off it's why aren't they on. Are we looking at incompetence or is there something… more sinister at play? I like to think it's a little bit of both. After all why so serious when you can plunge an entire nation into darkness?
Blame Game Tango
The Cuban government is pointing fingers naturally. Aging infrastructure they say. And those pesky U.S. sanctions too. It's always someone else's fault isn't it? Like a comedian blaming the audience for a bad joke. Trump's shadow looms large with talk of tariffs and even a "friendly takeover." Ah politics… it's all a big joke anyway. Almost as funny as Axon's AI Powered Surge A Slam Dunk for the Future. Which is really saying something.
Fueling the Fire (or Lack Thereof)
The fuel situation is… shall we say… suboptimal. No oil from foreign suppliers for three months. Rationing suspended flights reduced work hours… it's a regular carnival of inconvenience. One woman's refrigerator broke down because of the voltage fluctuations. "If there's no electricity tomorrow we won't be able to get water," she said. Now that's what I call pressure. A little anarchy never hurts.
A Nation in the Dark or a Stage for Something Grand?
The people of Cuba are tired. Exhausted. "We have to get used to continuing our usual routine," says one vendor. "What else can we do? We have to try to survive." That's the spirit. Embrace the chaos. Find the humor in the madness. Because in the end isn't that all we can do? As I've said before "Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos."
Tick Tock Goes the Cuban Clock
Trump ever the showman thinks Cuba's government is on the verge of collapse. He even fantasizes about "the honor of taking Cuba." Such hubris. It's like a bad magician revealing his trick before the grand finale. He doesn't realize chaos isn't about control. It's about… letting go.
The Punchline Awaits
So what's the punchline to this Cuban comedy of errors? I don't know. That's the beauty of it. The best jokes are the ones you don't see coming. But one thing is certain this story isn't over yet. And I for one am eager to see how it all unfolds. Because after all "Why so serious?"
