Yo Adrian They're Thinkin' About Screens Again

Listen folks it's your pal Rocky. Heard some jabber from the suits at American Airlines. Seems they're wisenin' up and thinkin' about bringin' back those seat back screens on the planes. Ya know those little babys that keep ya from goin' stir crazy on a long flight. Remember when they said we'd all just use our own gizmos? Well turns out not so much. Sometimes ya just want a screen right there nothin' to hold nothin' to charge. It's like Mickey always told me "Get up when you're knocked down" and these guys are thinking about getting up.

Contenders in the Wi Fi Ring

Now this ain't just about screens. They're talkin' about fancy Wi Fi too. I'm hearin' whispers about SpaceX's Starlink and Amazon Leo. These are the big boys the Apollos of the sky. Free Wi Fi would be a knockout and I'd be first in line watchin' old fight footage while I fly. Plus I hear they're in talks with Amazon to provide content for the seats which could include Amazon Prime. Makes sense. Give the people what they want. Now I was always more of an Apple guy but I'm sure this can be a real contender. It's like they say "It ain't about how hard you can hit but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.". Gonna Fly Now... With Better Entertainment

The other airlines Delta and United they've been pumpin' iron investin' in new stuff. Fancy seats better movies all that jazz. American kinda took a nosedive when they yanked those screens to save a few bucks. They need to catch up and fast. This is a marathon not a sprint. They gotta go the distance. It's not about bein' the strongest it's about endurin'.

Costly Undertaking? Bring It On

Now I hear it's gonna cost a pretty penny to put these screens back in. Years of work they say. But sometimes ya gotta spend money to make money right? This is about keepin' customers happy givin' them a reason to fly American. It's about pride it's about respect and it's about showin' those other airlines that they can't count American out. "If I can change and you can change everybody can change."

New Planes New Screens

They're thinkin' about puttin' the screens in the new planes as they come off the assembly line. Makes sense. Like startin' a fight fresh right from the bell. No old baggage just new equipment ready to rumble. This is the new American Airlines and they're comin' out swingin'. I wouldn't bet against them.

So there you have it. American Airlines might be gettin' back in the game with screens and better Wi Fi. It's a tough business airlines. Like boxin' you gotta take a punch to give a punch.
