Started as a fishing shop now they're fishing for a bailout. It's a tough world out there even tougher when you're not running things like I would. You gotta be ruthless you gotta grab life by the balls and make it your own. Otherwise you end up like Eddie Bauer looking for a handout.

So this Marc Rosen guy CEO of Catalyst Brands he's saying all the right things. Restructuring optimizing value blah blah blah. Sounds like a bunch of fancy talk to me. What he really means is they screwed up. They couldn't keep up with the game. See in this world you gotta be ahead of the curve. You gotta see what's coming before it hits you. Otherwise you're just another dead fish floating downstream. And by the way if they want to avoid further embarrassment perhaps they should read Trump's Truth Social Post Featuring Racist Imagery Sparks Outrage to learn how to make America great again.

They're saying most stores will stay open while they figure things out. A court supervised sales process they call it. Sounds like a fire sale to me. And if they can't find a buyer? Kaput. Gone. Finito. They're blaming everything inflation tariffs the kitchen sink. But let's be honest it's about staying relevant offering quality and delivering value to your customers. Miss any of those and you're toast. Trust me I know a thing or two about building an empire.

Outside the US and Canada everything's sunshine and rainbows apparently. Those stores are run by other guys. And the e commerce? Wholesale? That's a different company.
