Feeling the Ki Blast of Illegal Tariffs
Hey it's me Goku. Even I know that fighting fair is important and it sounds like these tariffs were about as fair as Frieza playing by the rules. Turns out FedEx is pretty steamed about having to pay these tariffs that the Supreme Court said were a no go. They're like 'Give us back our Senzu beans'… I mean money. Seriously a full refund is what they're after. It's kind of like wanting all the Dragon Balls back after Emperor Pilaf messes everything up.
The Supreme Court's Spirit Bomb
So the Supreme Court those wise Namekians of justice basically said 'These tariffs? Nope not cool.' That's a big win almost as big as when I finally beat Kid Buu with the Spirit Bomb. Now FedEx is hoping that ruling will help them get back all the cash they shelled out. Other companies are in the mix too like Costco trying to get their refunds. Maybe they should call me – I'm pretty good at collecting things. It sounds like [CONTENT] Foreign Drugs Face Flintstone Fury and this situation is making companies angry!
FedEx's Big Bang Attack on Border Protection
This whole thing is a bit of a showdown like when Vegeta finally decides to fight alongside me. FedEx is directly calling out U.S. Customs and Border Protection along with their commissioner Rodney Scott and even the whole U.S. government. They're basically saying 'We want our money back and we want it now' You know like when I'm hungry after a good training session. They haven't said exactly how much they're trying to get back but they previously mentioned it could ding their earnings by about a billion dollars. That's a lot of Zeni even for me.
A Billion Dollar Kamehameha Gone Wrong
Think about it – a billion dollars. That’s like buying a whole lot of training weights and enough food to feed a Saiyan army for a year. FedEx estimates that U.S. trade policies including these tariffs could cost them that much. That's a serious hit and it's no wonder they're fighting back. I mean if someone tried to take my food I'd go Super Saiyan Blue on them real quick.
Waiting for Divine Guidance (and Refund Process)
Right now things are in a bit of a holding pattern like when we're waiting for Dende to heal us up after a tough battle. FedEx said that the Supreme Court didn’t directly say anything about refunds but they're still trying to protect their right to get their money back. They're waiting for the government and the courts to figure out the refund process. Sounds like even they don't know when they'll get their hands on those sweet sweet Zeni I mean dollars!
Trade Battles Are Never Easy
This whole situation reminds me that even powerful warriors face challenges. Sometimes you have to fight legal battles instead of physical ones which can be just as tough if not tougher. Let's hope FedEx gets their refund soon. Until then I'll keep training just in case I need to fight off any tariffs myself. Remember folks "I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace."
