Boy do I know ambition. Disney it seems seeks new worlds to conquer. Their newest vessel the Disney Adventure a veritable behemoth prepares to embark from Singapore. Six thousand seven hundred souls it carries – a number rivaling entire Spartan armies. They aim to tap into the vein of the Asian market a place previously untouched by their giant mouse claws. They seek to expand to new territories much like I expanded my legend. Perhaps these 'cruises' are not so different from my own voyages... though I suspect less bloodshed and more singing.
Size Matters: The Adventure's Immense Scale
This…ship… it is large. Even I Kratos am impressed by its sheer size. Consider this: it carries nearly 2,500 crew members. They say it takes a village. Foolishness. It takes an army to manage such a vessel. But Disney aims to provide a high level of service one fit for the gods themselves. I sense the desire is there to provide new experiences. They see opportunity in Asia a market ripe for the taking. They follow the path of least resistance. International travel to the United States falls while Disney expands into Asia to show them the way. They are growing and shifting their focus as I have also in my long years…

Disney already holds lands in Tokyo Hong Kong and Shanghai so this feels… calculated. It is not reckless aggression but a measured strike. They understand this new world. They tailor this ship specifically for Asian tastes catering to local traditions and preferences a practice to increase the chance of success in this new market. "The ship is a brand ambassador," they proclaim. A strange term but I understand the meaning. It is a representative a symbol of what they offer.

The ship was originally meant for gambling? How predictable. Such vessels are normally reserved for darker pursuits now they are being changed to serve the people or more accurately families. I would hope they consider every detail since Disney executives note how these vacations aren't for just nuclear families but extended family and large groups of friends. Will such things be taken into account to improve the experience or will there be chaos. We shall see…
A World of Dreams: The Disney Experience
They promise immersion in Disney's century of storytelling. Character meet and greets themed shops entertainment… All designed to separate people from their coin. San Fransokyo Marvel Landing karaoke rooms… distractions to keep the masses entertained much like the trials and challenges I undertook to keep myself going. Dining experiences too with flavors tailored to please the Asian palate. Stitch's Ohana Grill Bewitching Boba and Brews… strange names for places where people stuff their faces.
