More viewers watching longer that's the name of the game. Netflix is saying they might even offer a bundle with HBO save you some dough. But Paramount they might jack up the prices 'cause they're struggling. It's a gamble either way. So you see it's all about the money all about the power. And who can offer the best deal to the people watching the TV. That's all it is.

From the industry perspective Paramount wants to slash costs merge studios the whole nine yards. Netflix they're not so keen on that. They see movies as a product that can be distributed directly to the customer without the old movie theaters. Less competition means less jobs less opportunities. Netflix cares about subscribers. Some folks say CNN might lean more to the right if Paramount takes over. But let's be real there's plenty of opinions out there. It's a free country even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it.
