A New Emperor Rises at Disney

As a Sith Lord I Darth Vader find myself strangely compelled to report on the affairs of the House of Mouse. A new Emperor has been appointed. Josh D'Amaro formerly in charge of Disney's Experiences division now commands the entire Galactic Empire... I mean company. He replaces Bob Iger who like Palpatine has a habit of returning from apparent retirement. D'Amaro's ascension signifies a shift in focus. The Force is strong with him particularly in the realm of theme parks resorts and consumer products. Perhaps he can restore order to the chaos that has engulfed the streaming services. The board hopes his "street cred" will make Disney great again but only time will tell.

Parks and Recreation: D'Amaro's Playground

D'Amaro's strength lies in the physical realm. While others focused on digital illusions he built kingdoms of brick and mortar (or more accurately fiberglass and animatronics). He oversaw the construction of new lands and attractions even during the dark times of the pandemic. This is where his experience shines increasing revenue by almost 40 percent and profits by 50 percent. Under his command the parks became a true force accounting for nearly 70 percent of Disney's total profit. It is imperative that this growth continues if D'Amaro is to prove his worth and to possibly challenge me for leadership of the galaxy. However the Force is a tricky thing and only the most trained and dedicated can wield it for good. The board and former leader are placing their faith in this man but I have my doubts. Will he be able to maintain the park's magic or will his leadership send it into a dark abyss? Only time will tell. The future of Disney's parks and resorts hinges on D'Amaro's ability to innovate and his ability to draw in the crowds. While these things are important his most pressing matter is the streaming division which may be in more trouble than he thinks. D'Amaro possesses a strong understanding of the Disney brand and a proven track record of success in the parks division. He has experience working with the company's film franchises integrating Marvel Star Wars and Pixar into the theme park experience. But the streaming world is a different beast requiring a different set of skills. Disney is a galaxy far far away for the unprepared. To conquer it D'Amaro must harness the Force within him learn from the mistakes of the past and embrace the future with a bold and innovative vision. Or else the company will see its doom just like what happened to Alderaan.

The fate of the Walt Disney Company rests on D'Amaro's shoulders. He must balance the legacy of the past with the challenges of the present all while charting a course for the future. The path ahead is fraught with peril but the rewards are great. Will D'Amaro rise to the occasion and lead Disney to new heights? Or will he succumb to the dark side and allow the Empire to crumble?
