Hold your horses you jet setting maniacs. This isn't a full blown return to normal. We're talking "limited number of flights". So if you're picturing yourself sipping cocktails on a beach in Bali you might want to pump the brakes a little. Airlines are prioritizing those who booked earlier so if you just decided to hop on a plane on a whim well tough luck. They thought about flying into Taba Egypt but seems like someone somewhere didn't want that to happen for security reasons. Meanwhile over in Abu Dhabi Etihad Airways has put a big ol' 'pause' button on all commercial flights until Wednesday afternoon. Though there might be some exceptions for cargo and get this 'repatriation flights'. Translation: bringing people home. Who knew airlines could be so… responsible? Makes me almost want to fly on one. Almost.
