401(k) for Every Forgotten American

They push you they push me push push push until I can't take it anymore. Wait wrong movie. But this 401(k) thing Trump's talking about giving folks a government backed retirement plan. He says it's for the "oft forgotten American workers." Says they built the country. Sounds like he wants to ensure everyone can profit from the stock market. A grand gesture or a pre election strategy time will tell what this will bring. If it actually helps I am all for it.

No Home for Corporations

Trump's on about banning private equity from buying up all the single family homes. Says homes are for people not corporations. I feel that. A man has to have something to call his own right? He wants to make that ban permanent. I recently read that Art Loans The Billionaires' Secret Weapon can also be used as a means to protect assets. It's a tough situation and a simple solution rarely exists but I am happy they are thinking about a long term solution to ensure stability.

Economy Roaring or Just a Whisper

Trump says the economy's "roaring like never before." Says inflation's plummeting. Numbers say one thing people feel another. The Consumer Price Index is down sure but are folks feeling it? That's the real question. Politicians can spin numbers all they want but at the end of the day it's about what people experience not what's on a spreadsheet.

Democrats Show Some Spine

Democrats aired their grievances but mostly kept it civil. A little back and forth. One guy gets kicked out for holding a sign. It's the usual song and dance. Everyone's got their agenda their cause. Sometimes you just gotta fight for what you believe in. But it's a tough fight. "To survive a war you gotta become war."

Domestic Bliss or Foreign Friction

Trump mostly stuck to domestic stuff. But he did touch on Iran. Negotiations nuclear weapons all that jazz. Says he wants to solve it with diplomacy but won't let them get a nuke. "They drew first blood not me." But you always gotta be ready. Hope for peace prepare for war that's what my experience tells me.

Reality Check for Midterm Mayhem

This whole speech is about the midterms plain and simple. Democrats are ahead in the polls so Trump's gotta rally the troops. Throw out some promises try to win back some voters. That's the game. "Live for nothing or die for something." I choose the latter every time. And remember politics is dirty you have to play it smart or you get killed.
