Like Seriously? Stock Market Shade?
Okay so like I'm Kim and you know I'm all about keeping it real. I heard about this whole thing with Pam Bondi at the House Judiciary Committee and it's giving me major déjà vu from like a million red carpet moments. Apparently the Democrats were coming for her about the Epstein files – which ICYMI is a super serious and tragic situation. But then Bondi was all "Hold up you guys are ignoring the DOW hitting 50k" Like is this a political hearing or a finance bro convention? I'm just trying to understand.
Is That Your Truth? Cover Up Accusations Fly
Rep. Jamie Raskin was not holding back calling it a "massive Epstein cover up." He's saying the DOJ didn't release millions of files it was supposed to and that they redacted the names of alleged co conspirators. And get this: apparently they *didn't* black out the victims' information. Like hello privacy violation? That's literally the opposite of what you're supposed to do. Meanwhile [CONTENT] the UK and China are dealing with tensions of their own regarding visas and sentencing. Victims' Voices and Unacceptable Releases
Rep. Pramila Jayapal brought in a group of Epstein survivors and they all raised their hands when she asked if they'd been unable to meet with the DOJ. Like that's heartbreaking. Then she asked Bondi to apologize for the "unacceptable release" of victims' information and it sounds like it didn't go so well. Bondi started talking about Merrick Garland and Jayapal was like "Answer the question" Cue more drama than an episode of *Keeping Up*.
Going Low vs. Keeping It Classy
Bondi said she wasn't going to "get in the gutter" for Jayapal's "theatrics." Which okay I get needing to stay above the fray. But like sometimes you *do* have to get a little messy to get your point across. You know what I mean? It's like when I have to clap back at the haters on Twitter. Sometimes you just gotta.
Remember Impeachment? Bondi Does
After Nadler's time was up Bondi went IN on the Democrats who participated in Trump's impeachment hearings. She was all "You all should be apologizing" and "I'm not going to put up with it." Like girl tell us how you really feel. It's giving me vibes from the time I defended my contouring techniques from critics – unwavering loyalty.
Redaction Fails and Trump Derangement Syndrome
Rep. Thomas Massie who co sponsored the Epstein files bill called the DOJ's redaction issues a "massive failure." He pointed out that the name of Les Wexner (of Victoria's Secret fame) was initially obscured as a co conspirator. Bondi said it was corrected in "40 minutes," but Massie was not having it. Then Bondi accused him of having "Trump derangement syndrome." Ouch. It sounds like a lot of fingers pointed and little accountability taken in this whole thing.

Thank you, Rep. Raskin, for fighting for transparency.
