The Devil's Bargain

Right so politics eh? More crooked than a Birmingham back alley. Trump that fella thought he could pull a fast one didn't he? Snagged Kennedy's lot with promises of clean livin' only to turn around and cuddle up to the chemical boys. "Everyone's a whore Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves." Seems even presidents aren't immune to a bit of temptation. Now the MAHA mob's in a right state and the Democrats are sniffin' around like vultures over a fresh kill. It's all about power see? And in this game you either win or you die. There is no in between.

Glyphosate Girl's Fury

This 'Glyphosate Girl' Ryerson sounds like a right firebrand. Claims this glyphosate business is the breaking point. Well let me tell you breaking points are a funny thing. Sometimes they lead to war sometimes to opportunity. The administration's also sided with Bayer Monsanto in a Supreme Court case that would weaken petitioners' ability to sue if they believe they got cancer from a pesticide or herbicide. Remember there are some things worse than death. If they can make up for this in time for midterms it is with a very real very large move to finally do something protective. Much like the Trump Administration Halts Minnesota Medicaid Funds Amidst Minnesota Medicaid Funds Amidst Fraud Concerns situation. Course correction she calls it. More like damage control. But in this game perception is everything. If people believe you're on their side they'll follow you to hell and back.

Democrats Circle

The Democrats predictably are circling like sharks smelling blood. This Pingree woman sounds like she's got her claws out trying to drag those health nuts back into the fold. And that Heinrich fella talkin' about Kennedy throwin' his own people under the bus. Honestly politics is just a bunch of blokes in suits stabbin' each other in the back with fancy words. But here's the thing they're offering real moves to appease MAHA would be a ban on pre harvest desiccation a process where weed killers are applied to crops before harvest to make harvesting easier. She also urged the administration to revoke its support for Bayer Monsanto at the Supreme Court and to invest in regenerative agriculture.

Kennedy's Double Game

Now Kennedy that's a slippery eel if ever I saw one. Wins a massive payout against these chemical companies then turns around and defends Trump's actions. Claims it's all about bringing production back to America protecting the food supply. "Lies travel faster than the truth." Sounds like he's swallowed the party line whole. But then again maybe he's playin' a deeper game. Maybe he's got a plan a long con. Or maybe he's just another politician full of empty promises and self serving ambition.

The Price of Progress

This Hoeven bloke spouting about science and facts. "Everyone wants to be on top." He's right of course upending the food supply would be a disaster. But at what cost? How much poison are we willing to pump into our bodies for the sake of efficiency? It's a question we need to ask ourselves. Because in the end we all pay the price. The question is who pays the most.

A Betrayal of Trust

This whole affair stinks of betrayal. Trump promised these people a healthier life and now he's selling them out to the highest bidder. It's a classic case of power corrupting. "Intelligence is a very valuable thing innit my friend? And usually it comes far too f***ing late." And if he's not careful he'll find himself on the wrong side of a very angry mob. Because in this game trust is the most valuable currency. And once it's gone it's gone for good. The question then becomes what moves are needed to appease the MAHA and its constituents?
